Construction Comments

Dress: The dress was made using two patterns that I combined and altered a little. (Simplicity 2640 - top & Vogue 8447 - Skirt)
The unattached sleeves were made freehand without a pattern and held up using elastic in the top of the sleeve.

Accessories: The necklace and bracelets were made using hollow bone beads (painted gold) and black onyx round beads in various lengths and sizes. The beads were then put on metal eye pins and connected to a length of memory wire. I have plans to remake these using a stronger gauge wire in future as the one I used was a bit weak which caused the bead sections to bulg out in places. D:
The forehead jewelry and earrings (which can't be seen through the hair >_>) were made using craft foam (cut into the crescent shapes), coated in elmers glue, and then painted either gold or silver as needed. The individual crescents were then hot glued together (earrings were also hot glued onto a hook earring frame for wearing)
