Kimono: I used Folkwear pattern 113 for a Japanese Kimono out of black crepe (I wanted it to look like chirimen fabric). It's actually a pattern for an unlined, informal kimono so I had to make the sleeves longer, and I think that's the only thing I changed. It's a great pattern though with a lot of attention to historical detail and instructions on shibori etc. I also used this pattern to make the Nagajuban (under kimono) with a light butterfly fabric and white crepe for the collar.

Obi, Obi age, & Obi jime: The obi was a slightly used one from Japan that I bought off of Ebay, and the obiage-obijime where bought as a set from Ichiroya.

Geta, Tabi, and Accessories: The tabi were also bought off of Ebay, and I bought the geta from a great place in Japan called Geta-Shop Akai-Hanao-No-Jojo. The guy who runs this shop speaks english and is pretty helpful about fit etc. The site has relatively easy international ordering. Highly recommended shop.
The rest of the accessories like the obimakura, obiita, and koshihimo were bought from either Ichiroya or Ebay.

The last two drawings are what I used to make the embroidery for the kimono.
